At AVR we can repair almost all minor dents that have not damaged the original factory paint work.
Common damage causes include:
- Careless vehicle door opening
- Shopping trolley damage
- Very minor collisions
- Football or golf ball damage
- Road stone damage
- Hail stone damage
The PDR process can be applied to most panels on your vehicle including the bonnet, roof, boot, doors, wings and rear quarter panels. Providing we can gain access behind the dent and the paint work is not damaged, the dent should be repairable.
Cosmetic Dents
These are one of the most common types of dents, typically being caused by a careless door opening or a ball hitting the vehicle panelling. Outward dents are also common normally occurring on the boot of the vehicle by the overfilling of the boot space.
Styling Line Dents
Also known as a swage line, these dents require a great deal of skill especially if the dent is running across the styling line. Like all types of dents, providing the paintwork is not damaged, the dent should be repairable.
Creases
These dents are normally caused when the vehicle is stationary but the object is moving, i.e. a bicycle or shopping trolley. Again this is another type of dent that AVR can repair using the PDR process.
